Backup Database

You should back up your databases every day using a flash drive, CD or automatic backup system such as Carbonite.. If the computer has a hardware issue, or there is a need to reinstall the software, the data will be preserved.

Select File on the main menu.
Select Backup Database.
Choose the backup drive letter.
Click Next.
Select the database(s) to be backed up.
Click Next.
Click Backup.
I f you are backing up to a CD, once the file is backed up, it must be written to the CD using the Cd creator software on the computer.
